I have studied the Spiritual Disciplines for 2 years and am thrilled to be focusing on the following with each of you! The more we understand the disciplines, the easier it is to desire them and allow them to manifest and deeply root into our lives.
Prepare your hearts to receive what God wants to show you as we embark on this journey together!
Jessica Dyer

Simplicity, Solitude and Confession
This breakout session will focus on the Outward Discipline of Simplicity. We will discuss how to un-complicate and untangle our lives so we can focus on what really matters. We will learn how to let our 'Yes be Yes' and our 'No be No' according to Matthew 5:37.
We will also focus on the Outward Discipline of Solitude. We will learn how to leave people behind in our thoughts to enter into a time alone with God. We will learn how Jesus mastered this concept when he 'went off to a solitary place' (Mark 1:35).
Finally, we will finish with learning about the Corporate Discipline of Confession. We will focus on surrendering our weaknesses and faults to the forgiving love of Christ and how to intentionally desire and embrace practices that lead to transformation.
Join me as we open ourselves to God while relinquishing our false selves to fall even deeper in love with Christ.

H E L L O!!!! Wake up... What a great way to learn to focus... and man do I need that! How easy it is to have such good intensions but not really be able to figure out how all the pieces fit. I am so ReAdY for the relaxing part, but also some help in learning something new about my own personal life. Can't wait!

The other women scheduled to speak are Cheryl Steffen, Stephanie Hurd, Samantha Nigh, JoAnn Stadler, Ann Schulz, Darlene Johnson and Christina Farrah. The Asbury Women's Council is thrilled to offer the opportunity to learn from our talented and knowledgable women of Asbury. There are so many women at Asbury who are willing and able to answer the call upon them and be obiedient to the Lord by sharing their gifts. We are so grateful for these women and are looking forward to their preparation on the spiritual diciplines. The discussion on spiritual diciplines will include: prayer, meditation, fasting, bible study, simplicity, solitude, submission, service, confession, guidance, worship and celebration. We would love for women of all ages to join us! You can look forward to some good food, fun with friends, relaxation and lots of free time to enjoy the beautiful scenery at Camp Egan. It is guaranteed to be a time well spent. Look forward to seeing you there! Tami Keeley
